Welcome to the Creative POV, where every week an artist, Jenny Whitehead, and a humorist, Mike Lukas, offer creative tips on how to put down your screen and be entertained by the world around you.

You know, like people did before the internet because they had no choice.

Nowadays, however, it’s a common scene – crowds of people with heads down, staring at the screens of their phones and iPads and laptops. They’re shuffling through their days like imagination zombies.

That’s causing an entire generation of people to let their creative muscles go soft and their funny bones get weak.
