DIARY OF AMERICA’S SHRINK #10: “There Is No List, And If There Were, I Wouldn’t Be On It…”

July 21, 2025

From the Desk of Dr. Klaus Terrance Corbin, MD
Patient Name: America the Country
Session Ten
Date: Monday, July 21, 2025

Transcript of Today’s Session:

Dr. KTC: Welcome back, Uncle Sam.

America: Let’s cut the small talk, Doc. I’m being attacked. Again.

KTC: Who’s attacking you?

America: The deep state. The fake media. The alphabet people. Anyone with a blog and a memory.

KTC: Are you referring to the Epstein documents?

America: There is no list. Okay? And if there were, I wouldn’t be on it. And if I were, it’s none of your business. And if it is your business, then you clearly hate America.

KTC: That’s quite the sequence of denials.

America: That’s not denial—it’s patriotism. I’m just doing what any self-respecting superpower does when someone brings up sex crimes tied to the elite. I pivot.

KTC: Pivot?

America: Yeah. Distraction is the new transparency. Why answer questions when I can start fifteen new fires and tweet “WITCH HUNT” in all caps?

KTC: So you’re saying this is all deflection?

America: It’s strategic. While you nerds are trying to read redacted PDFs, I’m out here staging a coup on TikTok and declaring fentanyl a weapon of mass distraction.

KTC: Do you feel guilty?

America: Guilt is for Canadians and liberal arts majors. I feel framed. I’m just a rich, misunderstood, God-fearing, billionaire-adjacent landmass with a strong jawline and friends in sketchy places.

KTC: You seem particularly defensive today.

America: You’d be defensive too if every time your name came up, people said “complicit.” I’m not complicit, Doc. I’m just… proximity-adjacent.

KTC: Do you think people are right to be suspicious?

America: Look, Doc, everyone’s been to a weird island at least once. Some people go to Sandals. Others go to private jet orgies. Who are we to judge?

KTC: That’s a false equivalence.

America: It’s the only kind I have left.

KTC: Do you think avoiding accountability will help you?

America: Of course not. But if I admit anything now, I’ll have to admit everything. The tax breaks, the secret prisons, the dolphin surveillance program—

KTC: The what?

America: Never mind. Point is: my entire system runs on the principle of “if we stop talking about it, it didn’t happen.”

KTC: And what if people don’t stop talking about it?

America: That’s when I drop the real distraction: announce a war on oat milk, arrest Taylor Swift for witchcraft, or leak UFO files again. The people love a good shiny object.

KTC: America, are you afraid of what they’ll find?

America: Of course I am. If half the stuff they say is true, I’m not just corrupt—I’m complicit, compromised, and covered in dead juice.

KTC: That’s very honest.

America: Don’t quote me on that. I’ll deny it and call you a communist.

KTC: So what do you really want to say about the Epstein files?

America: (pause) I want to say… “I’m sorry. I knew. I looked away. I chose power over people.”
But I can’t. Because if I say that out loud…
then maybe I’m not the good guy anymore.

KTC: What if admitting that made you better?

America: Then I’d have to change everything. My systems. My history. My heroes. That’s not growth, Doc. That’s renovation. And I don’t do renovations. I do cover-ups.

KTC: Even if it means people get hurt?

America: Especially if it means that. That’s the American way.

KTC: We’re out of time.

America: Damn right we are. You ever try fitting generational accountability into 50 minutes?

KTC: Good day, America.

America: Depends who’s testifying.

Final Notes:

Patient exhibits extreme deflection, denial, and hyperactive distraction behavior. Unable to engage with systemic accountability without spiraling into paranoia or conspiracy. May require intervention via civil suit or revolution.

Personal Note: Claudia—please hide the mini-fridge bourbon. Patient’s bringing up islands again.
